The 16th of September saw the third round of the S. Pellegrino 2020 competition take place, with the naming of the Regional Finalist Chefs who will participate in the Grand Final of the S. Pellegrino Young Chef 2020 competition during the month of May.

The Italian mineral water firm S. Pellegrino organises this competition each year with the goal of giving talented young chefs easy access to the world of gastronomy and incentivising their professional growth. As an important feature of this edition, the number of regions has been considerably reduced, going from 21 to 12 regions. They were divided up as follows: North-Latin America, Latin America, Iberian Peninsula and Mediterranean Countries, North-east Europe, England and Northern Europe, Central Europe, Italy and South-east Europe, Africa and the Middle East, Eurasia, Greater China, Asia and finally, The Pacific.
