The “World’s 50 Best” list is now public

Britain’s Restaurant Magazine recently published its list of the world’s 50 best restaurants at a gala in Singapore. It’s one of the lists with the best reputation in the gastronomy sector globally.

Changes in 2019

What’s new this year is that restaurants that have previously held the number 1 spot on the ranking can no longer appear on the list. That’s why establishments like El Celler de Can Roca aren’t on there, although it maintains its position on a parallel list called “The best of the best”. Another change in this edition is that the list now includes cuisine from countries that are often overlooked on lists of haute cuisine like Mexico, Columbia, Thailand, Russia and China
